Well my records are finally going back up the loft and with some persuation I have decided to do a proper old skool mix before they collect dust for another 10 years.

I have decided to end this mix with a track from my 1st ever dance record, QFX – Virtual Reality. It would seem that this 12 inch would be the first release from shoop records. Over the years I built up many 12 inch records from QFX, most of them signed. Lastest VA Album they’re on is Dance Factory. I hope you enjoy the mix as I actually had fun doing this one.

Old Skool Mix Part 1 – Background Bass – OUTDATED

This won’t be a regular thing. At most I will be doing 2 mixes with my old skool records that haven’t been down from the loft in over 14 years. Then it will be either Ebay or back up the loft. I do plan on doing a regular podcast that will be mainly funky house music, maybe some electro and a touch of trance

I would like to dedicate these mixes to old friends who put up with the noise for years at the wing and at high school. Special mention going out to Anthony Ward partner in crime back then, and Johnny Walker for motivating me to just do it…

The mix isn’t that long as i am a bit rusty and really I couldn’t get back into the music. Suppose this doesn’t help when trying to put a quick set together. I do apologise for the little offbeat going from the Event into the overdose stomp. Anyway, I hope you appreciate the quick set, I would have tried to perfect it but I did’t have enough time so it was once or nothing…..
